Desh Bhagat University Signs Mou With Catalystone

Desh Bhagat University in its ongoing endeavour to promote Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship of International standards signed A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CatalystOne, a Leading IT Company having Head Office in Norway & Development Centers in Norway & Mohali . On this occasion, university officials and company representatives were present. While unveiling this news, Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shalini Gupta said that main objective of this MOU is to enhance the knowledge of students with latest techniques, new market trends and give them quality education, so that they may get maximum benefit in the near future. She hoped that this MOU will pave the way for empowering students with Technical Skill sets as per requirements in various IT Companies across the globe. Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Randhir Singh Mangat (Director, CatalystOne) said that CatalystOne is providing a complete user friendly & process-oriented software suite for Talent & Performance Management to its customers for more than 10 Years and after this MOU, the company will not only train the students but also help in their placement. He appreciated the efforts of Desh Bhagat University towards placements of students. University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh said that in today’s world of shrinking academic budgets and increasing educational cost without a compromise on quality education, such tie-ups are responses to the challenges being so created. Pro Chancellor Tejinder Kaur said that University has already signed MoU’s with leading national and international companies and organizations to ensure better placement prospects for its students and today’s MOU with CatalystOne will further create a platform for Desh Bhagat Students to strive for excellence in their professional careers ahead. Vice Chancellor Dr. S.S. Chahal said that the core principles of genuine software and certified evaluation of the real world’s tools are the information systems for students at affordable costs. Mr.Chetan Gupta, Director, (Innovation, Planning & Development of the University) informed that the signing of MOU will fulfill the common goals of University Education, Training and gainful placement to empower students to participate effectively in the processes of national development of India. While appreciating the initiative, the students said that it will be highly beneficial for them with regard to their training and placement.
