Desh Bhagat Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology now Desh Bhagat University School of Hotel Management & Tourism a premier Institute of Desh Bhagat University has been ranked 4th among Top Hotel Management Institutes of Excellence in India by Prestigious Survey 2014 conducted by GHRDC (Global Human Resource Development Centre), New Delhi. The survey is conducted on the parameters, like institute's Infrastructure (Physical and Academic), Faculty Development Programmes, Admissions, USP, Social Responsibility, Networking and Industry Interface Curriculum, Placements and Industry Interface on national level. In this survey, this Institute has been ranked 3RD in the whole North Region and 1st in the State of Punjab. This survey attempts to unravel the dynamics and changes taking place in the realm of Hotel Management Education in India. Facts and findings are thoroughly reviewed about the institute for ranking. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr.Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Tejinder Kaur have congratulated the faculty and the students over this achievement expressing the hope that they will continue to work still harder and reach new heights in future.
