Desh Bhagat Institute Of Management And Computer Sciences Gets 2nd Position In All India B-school Survey-2014

Desh Bhagat Institute of Management and Computer Sciences has got 2nd position in the Top 10 B-Schools in North India. The All India B-School Survey- 2014 was conducted by Business and Management Chronicle with its online partner CAT100 based on various parameters like infrastructure, faculty, research, consultancy, EDP & other programmes; admission and competency building; placement/industry/ interface/USP, employment potential etc. of the institute. This was disclosed by Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University and Chairman of Desh Bhagat Group, Dr.Zora Singh. He further said that Desh Bhagat Institute of Management and Computer Sciences has also got Grade-A in the state of Punjab in all India survey conducted by the same agency. Pro Vice Chancellor and Director General of Desh Bhagat Group, Dr. Shalini Gupta, while congratulating the whole staff and students of the institute observed that this achievement has become possible due to the vision and able leadership of the management, untiring efforts of the administrative staff, commitment of the faculty and the hard work put in by the students. She said that for proper Training and Placement of its students, the institute has a separate full time placement cell which helps the students in getting suitable jobs by coordinating with national and international companies. The alumni of Desh Bhagat Institute of Management and Computer Sciences also make its contribution in securing good jobs for their juniors. Pro chancellor Tejinder Kaur , Chancellor Dr.S.S.Chahal and Registrar Dr.Virinder Singh have congratulated the faculty and the students over this achievement expressing the hope that they will continue to work still harder and reach new heights in future. Dr. Nidhi Gupta, Director Desh Bhagat Institute of Management and Computer Sciences expressed her happiness and explained that such surveys prove quite useful for the different organizations in finding suitable candidates for different jobs. While selecting candidates, these organizations set their own standards and then select candidates from those institutes which come up to those standards and these standards include the general reputation of the institution, its ranking, alumni record and the competence of the faculty.
