Desh Bhagat Hospital Celebrates Homeopathy Awareness Week
Desh Bhagat University and Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic Hospital organised a free homeopathic medical check-up camp. The camp was inaugurated by University Pro-Chancellor Mrs. Tajinder Kaur by garlanding Dr. Samuel Hahnemann’s (Father of Homeopathy) portrait followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Speaking on the occasion, she said that now-a-days people are also adopting Homeopathic treatment with other popular pathies. Although people think that it is a long term process but it’s possible to cure even the most serious ailments completely and promptly as well with the Homeopathic medicines. Director Faculty of Ayurveda and Research, Dr. Kulbhushan said that the camp was a part of World Homeopathy Awarenes Week proagrammes being orgaised by Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic Hospital. During this Homeopathic medical camp, more than 200 patients were examined by a panel of well experienced doctors including Dr. Sandeep Puri (M.D.), Vice–Principal Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, Dr. Parvinder Kaur (Reader, Guru Nanak Dev Homeopathic College, Ludhiana), Dr. Harmesh Chander from Gobindgarh and Dr. Manpreet Kaur Pannu. He said that most of the patients were suffering from Gastrointestinal Disorders, Cold, Hypertension, Leucorrhea, Diabetes, Joint Pains, Low Eye Vision, Skin Disorders and Anemia etc. Homeopathic Medicines were provided free of cost. Some tests e.g. ECG, Blood Test and Urine Test were also done free of cost. The medical team also advised the people about proper eating habits and avoid oily and spicy foods. Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh appreciated the doctors for their services and appealed to the people to get maximum benefit from the facilities being provided by Desh Bhagat Hospital. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Kamaljeet Singh Ahuja said that the aim of this camp was to create health awareness among the people and provide them necessary medical assistance. Patients were highly satisfied and happy with the homeopathic treatment and facilities provided by Desh Bhagat Hospital during the medical camp.
