Campus Placement Drive At Desh Bhagat University

Training and Placement Cell of Desh Bhagat University organised a Joint Campus Placement Drive with Live Deftsoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd., one of the best IT Companies in India. The Deftsoft Company offers services such as Web Application Development, Mobile Application Development Services, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Web Design & Redesign Services, Ecommerce online shopping systems, Search Engine Optimization Services, Pay per Click Services and more. This drive was for freshers & experienced MBA, MCA & B.Tech (CSE/ IT) students.

A large number of students of different streams from north India’s leading Institutes & other Universities participated in this placement drive. During the Placement Drive, students were shortlisted through Written Test, Group Discussions & Personal Interview by company officials. After these rigorous rounds, the company selected 4 candidates for the position of ‘Management Trainee’ for Mohali location. While congratulating the selected students, Desh Bhagat University Vice Chancellor Dr. S.S. Chahal and Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shalini Gupta wished them a bright future and said that the university has tie-ups with a number of national and international companies for training and placement of its students. The students are given practical exposure through frequent industrial visits and industry academia interface. Beside, its own highly competent and qualified faculty, visiting faculty from IITs and industry is also arranged. University Chancellor, Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Tejinder Kaur in a special message congratulated the shortlisted students and advised them to work with full dedication and prove assets for the organisations in which they are getting jobs. Registrar Dr. Virinder and Mr. Chetan Gupta, Director, Innovation, Planning and Development while congratulating the selected students, thanked the company officials and hoped that this placement drive will prove a blessing for the students. The students thanked the University for holding such placement drives from time to time.
