On
the occasion of the holy day of Basant Panchami, dedicated to Sri Guru Nanak
Dev Ji's 550th Prakash Purabh, a 25-foot high “IK ONKAAR” was established at
Desh Bhagat University in top universities in India and best university in Punjab. On this occasion, Pro Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur prayed for
everybody’s well being and happiness. University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh said
that as we follow Guru Nanak's teachings, we should see all religions as a
common way of uniting with God.
Pro-Chancellor
Dr. Tejinder Kaur said that we should not discriminate the God on different
religious aspects. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh, Pro
Vice Chancellor Dr. Vimal Sikri, Vice President Dr. Sandeep Singh, Director
Surjit Patheja and other staff members were also present.
