In top universities in India and best university in Punjab Desh
Bhagat University organised the boxing championship, in which students from
different departments enthusiastically showed off their sporting talents.
University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh was chief guest on this event. He inspired
the students to perform honestly and diligently. On this occasion, Dr. Zora
Singh encouraged the students to excel in sports and also said that a huge
talent is present among the youth of the country, all they need guidance and
training.
Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur urged the students to
abstain from all forms of drugs and make sports an essential part of their
lives. During the various sports competitions the students performed
brilliantly. In this boxing
championship, the overall champion was Education Department.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Virender Singh chaired the prize
distribution ceremony and praised the student’s talent. On this occasion, Dr.
Shalini Gupta, Registrar Kalbhusion, Dr. Sanjeev Soni, Dr. Surjit Patheja, head
of various departments and staff members were also present.
