DeshBhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh released Shiromani writer Prof.
Achhru Singh’s 59th book ‘Jeewan Baatan’. While releasing the book,
Dr. Singh appreciated the literary work of Prof. Achhru Singh and said
that he has been serving Punjabi language and literature for the last many
decades and the literary world is proud of him. He said the spirit and the way
he is regularly working for literature is an inspiration for all of us.
Speaking
on the occasion Prof. Achhru Singh revealed that this book is collection of
essays on different topics which deal with different aspects of Life. He
informed that recently he had gone to Pakistan for Gurdham Yatra and besides
this pilgrimage to Pakistan, the book also contains a travelogue of Euorpoe.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh congratulated Prof. Singh and expressed his
hope that the coming generation will be greatly benefited by his work because
they will also be able to taste and relish the various flavors of life. It is
worth mentioning that Prof. Achhru Singh remained associate with Desh Bhagat
Institutions for over seven years.
