Placement Week At Desh Bhagat University

As part of its commitment to endeavour for 100% placement of its students, Training and Placement Cell of Desh Bhagat University organised placement week. The placement drive was for the students of MCA and B.Tech (CSE,IT) classes. During this Placement Week, IT companies namely Altruist Technologies, IDS InfoTech Limited, Security Weaver, Catalyst One, Macreel Info Soft Pvt. Ltd. Participated. These companies conducted their selection processes which included written tests followed by Technical & HR rounds. In this placement drive, 4 MCA students got selected by Macreel Info Soft Pvt. and other students shortlisted by different companies. While congratulating the shortlisted and selected students, Desh Bhagat University Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Shalini Gupta said that a number of National and International Companies are regularly visiting the university campus to select students for training and placement in their companies. Felicitating the shortlisted students during placement drive, Desh Bhagat University Vice Chancellor Dr. S.S. Chahal hoped that the students will do well during the final round also and get selected for suitable posts. He said that he has full faith in the capabilities of the students. According to the Head of the Corporate Relations Cell of the University, Mr. Chetan Gupta, more than 60 students have been shortlisted by these well known national international companies during this placement week. These companies will be giving stipend plus Rs.15000/- per month to the selected students during the training for working on Live Projects followed by placement opportunities in the respective companies. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor, Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Tejinder Kaur in a special message congratulated the shortlisted students and advised them to work with full dedication and prove assets for the organisations in which they are getting jobs. Desh Bhagat University Registrar Dr. Virinder Singh and Controller Examination Dr. I.S. Sethi also congratulated the shortlisted as well as selected students who thanked the university for holding such placement drives and the faculty for their able guidance.
