Desh Bhagat University Pro Vice-chancellor Dr. Shalini Gupta Conferred Life Time Achievement Award

Desh Bhagat University Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shalini Gupta has been honoured with 'Life Time Achievement Award' during the Progressive Punjab Technical Education and Skill Development Summit -2014 organised by Government of Punjab in collaboration with Punjab Technical University and PUTIA (Punjab Unaided Technical Institutions Association ) in Mohali. Dr Shalini Gupta was awarded by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for her exceptional contribution in the field of Education. Cabinet Minister Dr. Madan Mohan Mittal, PTU Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajnish Arora, Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, eminent educationists and a large number of students were present on this occasion. Dr. Shalini Gupta Pro Vice Chancellor Desh Bhagat University feeling elevated with the 'Life Time Achievement Award', said this award was a huge milestone of her life. She said the recognition which the Punjab Government has awarded her with, sets for her new horizons as she pledges to take these as new challenges with full dedication and commitment. Dr Shalini Gupta talking about new challenges said that this award is not only her personal achievement but a huge recognition of merit for the entire Desh Bhagat Family. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Tejinder Kaur congratulating Dr. Shalini Gupta and said that this award is the result of her hard work, commitment, dedication and her innovative and excellent contribution in the field of education. They hoped that students of Desh Bhagat University will touch new heights under her able leadership. It's worth mentioning that Dr. Shalini Gupta has been leading Desh Bhagat Institutions since the very beginning. It is worth mentioning that besides being a successful administrator, she is a scholar of national and international repute, a seasoned educationist, an excellent orator, an able teacher and a renowned social activist. Female education and creating awareness against social evils are her special fields of activity. University Vice Chancellor, Dr. S.S.
