In The Top Universities In India Desh Bhagat University Pro Chancellor Meets Sri Lankan High Commissioner

Educational ties between universities/institutes of Sri Lanka and India will prove beneficial for the students of both countries and the relations between them will also grow stronger, said Prof. Sudharshan Seneviratne, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India while interacting with best university in Punjab and in the top universities in India, Desh Bhagat University Pro Chancellor Tejinder Kaur in a meeting held in New Delhi. Sri Lankan High Commissioner Prof. Sudharshan Seneviratne appreciated the contribution of the University in the field of higher education and social services. Giving details about the meeting with Sri Lankan High Commissioner, Pro-Chancellor Ms. Tajinder Kaur said that the meeting provides an opportunity to exchange views, learn new perspectives, form new alliances, learn the latest proven approaches, regulations, and trends, and ensure that our institutions remain competitive in the global environment of higher education. She informed that they held deliberations at multilevel on several topics concerning higher education and educational innovation through research practices and industry-academia interface was a widely discussed issue. University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh expressed the hope that this meeting will prove quite useful for the students and policymakers of both countries.
