University institute of B.Pharmacy and in best b. pharmacy colleges in Punjab, Desh Bhagat University’s
School of Pharmacy organized Pharma Fest-2019. In this programme, all the
students of B-Pharmacy participated with full enthusiasm. The theme of this
event was “Safe and Effective Medicines for All”. This event was
inaugurated by University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Dr.
Tejinder Kaur. Principal Sh. B.D. Dhiman welcomed the chief guests Dr. Renu
Chadha, Pharmacy department Panjab University Chandigarh, Dr. Zora Singh and
Dr. Tejinder Kaur. As part of this programme, students undertook a drive to
create awareness regarding drugs, cleanliness (Swachh Bharat) and universal
brotherhood.
Dr. Renu Chadha had
delivered a lecture to B-pharmacy students on various “Various method of
analysis in Pharmaceutical Sciences”. While presiding over the function Dr.
Zora Singh said, ‘It is easy to get a thousand prescriptions, but hard to get
one single remedy’. He encouraged the students to get full knowledge of their
field. Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur appreciated the students and staff for
their awareness drive.
Giving vote of thanks of
this fest Dr. Pooja Gulati briefed that all the students of B. Pharmacy
performed in various activities on Pharma Fest-2019 like Rangoli Competition,
Myme, Poster making and Quiz competition under the guidance
of faculty members. Winners of different competitions were honoured
with prizes and certificates.
