Desh Bhagat University To Organise International Conference

Desh Bhagat University is organizing an International Conference on the theme “Challenges in Higher Education” on 26th and 27th September 2014. While giving details of the conference University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh said that eminent educationists, researchers and dignitaries from all over India & abroad have been invited to participate and hold fruitful discussions on the topic. The conference will provide a forum for interaction of ideas and information between academicians, scholars and students to enhance their understanding of different challenges in higher education, analyse its adequacy and the shortcomings in the existing system. A book containing selected articles received for presentation will also be released during this conference. Dr. Shalini Gupta, Vice Chancellor of the University disclosed that Desh Bhagat University which was earlier known as Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes has been organising an international conference every year on different topics and this conference is the 8th in the series. Scholars from countries like Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Nepal, Yaman, Nigeria, Bhutan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Thailand, Japan, USA & Canada have been invited to participate in this conference.
