Desh Bhagat University Students Visit Coke Plant

Desh Bhagat University Faculty of Business Management and Commerce organised an Industrial visit for the MBA, IMBA & BBA Students to Coca Cola Plant (Ludhiana Beverages Pvt. Ltd) Ludhiana. The objective of this visit was to make the students familiar with the current trends in the competitive world by sharing knowledge, ideas and skills with those of the people from the industry. Students, along with their teachers, visited the plant and took a complete round of the bottling and packaging sections where they visited different sections of the plant like Inventory, Filtration Section and Pulp Processing section etc. Students also visited the section where Co2 is mixed with the flavors of different cold drinks, Bottles cleaning & treatment plant, Bottles filling and dispatching section. The students watched the working and work culture of the employees which enhanced their knowledge and practical experience. The students asked relevant questions to clear their doubts and Coca Cola team answered the queries put forward by students which enriched the technical knowledge of students as well. University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Tejinder Kaur appreciated the initiative taken by the faculty and training & placement department and conveyed their best wishes to the students saying that they should get maximum industrial exposure to become time and market relevant. University Vice Chancellor Dr. Shalini Gupta said that the university organises such educational and industrial visits frequently for the benefit of the students to give them practical exposure of the industry. Registrar Dr. Virnder Singh said that such industrial cum educational trips are very useful in enhancing the knowledge of the students. All the students were quite happy to visit the coke plant saying that it was a good experience for them. They thanked the university officials for arranging this knowledgeable visit.
