Desh Bhagat University Faculty of Engineering & Technology organised
a Technical Workshop for the students of all Engineering Courses. The
workshop was arranged in collaboration with Ducat India’s Noida Branch,
which is India’s leading training company. While inaugurating the
Workshop, University Registrar Dr. Virinder Singh inspired the students
to take full benefit from this workshop as it will help them in their
career. The expert team that came to the university was lead by
company’s Center Head, Sanjay Pathak. The team consisted of company’s
CAD Head, Mr. Vikas who trained the students about Auto-CAD, their work
and importance. Mr. Vipul Mishra (Technical Head) updated the students
about Cloud Computing and its demand in Industry, while Mr. Rathdity
explained to the students Network Engineering and Embedded Systems. The
expert team also updated the students about the latest techniques and
the demand of industry in the present scenario. They inspired the
students to gain maximum knowledge through training and also gave a
number of tips to improve their skill & capability. The students of
Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Computer Sciences
Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC) and
other engineering courses attended this workshop with great enthusiasm.
The students were quite happy and excited to attend the workshop, they
said that they have attained much and fresh knowledge about some new
areas which will help them a lot.Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro
Chancellor Tejinder Kaur congratulated the faculty and staff members for
arranging the workshop successfully. They encouraged the students to
take full benefit of this kind of workshops which are arranged by the
university from time to time. Director Faculty of Engineering Dr.
Pardeep Singh Cheema and Director (Academic) Dr. Rajesh Goyal thanked
the company’s team for organizing the workshop and said that the
department will be organizing such workshops and activities from time to
time so that the students are up-dated about modern trends and demands
of the industry.
