Desh Bhagat Global School organised a two day Health check-up camp for its students. A team of doctors headed by Director Faculty of Nursing Dr. Ramandeep Kaur and consisting of paramedical staff examined more than 500 students in the camp. While giving details, School Principal Dr. Sumandeep Kaur disclosed that this was a routine check-up camp and the aim of this camp was to create health awareness among the students and provide them necessary medical assistance. The medical team which came to the school examined weight, eye sight, ears, blood and physical activities of the students. The expert team also advised the students to be aware about Dengue and take extra care of cleanliness at home and in school as well. They also exhorted students about proper eating habits, avoid going outside without covering face, avoid eating unripe and unhygienic fruits and also keep away from oily and junk food. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Mrs. Tajinder Kaur appreciated the initiative taken by the school administration. Parents were highly pleased and contented with the treatment and facilities provided by Desh Bhagat Global School during the medical camp and appreciated of school for healthy up keep of their wards.
