2nd Rank Amongst All State Private Universities Of Punjab
One major feather in the cap of Desh Bhagat University, as the university has been ranked 2ndamongst All State Private Universities of Punjab and 165th in among Top Universities/ Institutes of India by Prestigious National Institutional Ranking Framework-2017, ranking conducted by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), Govt. of India. The ranking is conducted and announced on the parameters, like university’s Infrastructure (Physical and Academic), Teaching, Learning & Resources like Faculty-Student Ratio, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity and Perception etc.
While giving details to media, Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur asserted that they are feeling honoured after this announcement. They congratulated the faculty and the students over this achievement expressing the hope that they will continue to work still harder and reach new heights in future. The survey attempts to unravel the dynamics and changes taking place in the realm of Education in India. Facts and findings are thoroughly reviewed about university for ranking.Vice Chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh and Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Neelima Jerath while congratulating the staff and students observed that this achievement has become possible due to the vision and able leadership of the management, untiring efforts of the administrative staff, commitment of the faculty and the hard work put in by the students.
