Desh Bhagat University School of Education Director, Dr. Surjeet Patheja
has been honoured with National Jewel Award and Indian Award for
Excellence in Education and Social Service by Ex-Governor of Sikkim and
former Agriculture Minister Choudhry Randhir Singh for her contribution
in the fields of education and social service. Dr. Patheja was honoured
with a Memento, Certificate of Excellence and with a Gold Medal during a
seminar on the theme 'Economic Growth and National Unity'. This seminar
was organised by Friendship Forum of India in New Delhi.It's worth
mentioning that Dr. Patheja is actively contributing in the field of
Education and she is also working for social causes. While
congratulating Dr. Patheja, Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora
Singh and Pro Chancellor Tejinder Kaur said that she is performing her
duty excellently and also serving the needy people. University Pro
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shalini Gupta also felicitated her on this
achievement.
