Desh Bhagat Global School Organises Annual Function ‘eternity’, School Launches Its Mobile App

Desh Bhagat Global School organised its Second Prize Distribution cum Annual function ETERNITY in a very impressive manner. Mr. K.K. RATTU (Director, Doordarshan Chandigarh) and Mr. Sanjay Radhakrishnan (COO, Tata Class – Edge) graced the occasion with their presence as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. The function started with Ganesh Vandna and Ardaas. Dr. Zora Singh, Chairman, Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes and Chancellor Desh Bhagat University and Mrs Tejinder Kaur, Vice Chairperson Desh Bhagat Group and Pro Chancellor Desh Bhagat University welcomed the Chief Guest, other guests and parents. They said that the School is taking each and every step for the overall development of the personalities of the students. They also launched a Mobile Application of the school. School Principal Mrs. Manjinder Kaur Kalsi read the Annual Report of the School and highlighted various innovations to be introduced in the upcoming session. She informed that the school has been selected for International Award by European Language Council (ELC). She described the innovative teaching methodologies being adopted by the Global School for making the students high class individuals. The Tiny tots of the school showcased their talent through fancy dress, dance, skits and other competitions. Presentation by students, based on theme of Freedom Struggle was dedicated to S. Lal Singh Ji, great freedom fighter and companion of Neta Ji Subhash Chandra Boss. It was really very amusing to see the little children showing their talent in different fields which parents and guests enjoyed thoroughly. Choreography on Save the Girl Child and play on Save the Water were highly appreciated and truly liked by all. Mr. Rattu distributed the prizes to the students. He appreciated the excellent progress made by the school and the role of Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes in spreading the light of education in the state. Mrs Tejinder Kaur, Vice Chairperson and Pro Chancellor Desh Bhagat University thanked all the guests for sparing their valuable time and the parents for their kind cooperation in all school activities. Besides the faculty and the students, Faculty of Ayurveda and Research Director Dr. Kulbhushan Vashist, Controller of Examination Dr. I.S. Sethi were also present on the occasion.
