India's Destiny Is In The Hands Of Our Energetic Youths: Says Ambassador Deepak Vohra

"Our youths have full potential to take our country to pinnacle on the world Canvas and they can keep up this stage till eternity. They are not only our present but are the Country's future too ", said Ambassador Deepak Vohra, IFS (Retd.). He was addressing the students and in his keynote address focused on 'India Megatrends' for future development and adaption of these trends in the education system at Desh Bhagat University in the best university in Punjab and in the top universities in India. University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh while welcoming the learned speaker said that in today's fast moving era, everything is changing very speedily and to become a developed and powerful country, we have to get rid of all our shortfalls and weaknesses. He said that is a time of innovation, smart technology, world-class infrastructure, and latest techniques. The paramount accountability of the students would be to contribute and make our country sound and strong on the world's map. While addressing the students and faculty of Desh Bhagat University, Ambassador Deepak Vohra discussed in detail about the India Megatrends in different fields like Infrastructure, Aviation, Space Research, Science and Technology, Economy, E-Governance, etc. He told that at present all Major Developed and Developing countries are looking towards us because we have a maximum young population of the world who are energetic and have the potential to become a superpower in the near future. He urged the students to never give up in any condition, do their best, face the situations and do fulfill the dream of our Late President Dr. Abdul Kalam to make our country a fully developed country by 2020. He also gave some important guidelines to the students to be successful in life and encouraged them to feel pride in their great country. Mr. Vohra also shared his experiences regarding International Affairs, Current issues, Political matters, etc. and satisfied the queries of the students. Desh Bhagat University Pro Chancellor Ms. Tajinder thanked the learned speaker for sparing his precious time for the students and hoped that it will prove quite useful for them and the faculty members too. Vice Chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh said that such events are very useful for the young generation, especially the students. It will help them in their multi-functional growth. A large number of students from different faculties and faculty members were also present on this occasion.
