'The youths are the backbone of the country and its development, if we have patriotism in ourselves then not a single enemy may dare harm our country', said Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor Desh Bhagat University, the best university in Punjab and in the top universities in India. He was speaking as Chief Guest during the seminar held at Post Graduate Govt. College for Boys, Chandigarh on the topic “Youth & Nationalism”. The seminar was organized by My Home India organization. Dr. Singh gave some highly useful tips in his speech regarding patriotism & need for the development of nationalism in today's youth. He also mentioned quotes of Swami Vivekananda regarding the role of youths in national reconstruction and growth.
Introducing Dr. Zora Singh, General Secretary of My Home India Mr. Jitesh Pandey said that apart from being a doctor, he saw a vision to help our country through the light of education by establishing the center of knowledge in the form of Desh Bhagat University, not only in India but also in several foreign countries as well. Later Dr. Singh was honored by the My Home India organization. The seminar was graced by eminent personalities from different fields. Mr. K.G. Suresh, Journalist & Editor, Vivekananda International Foundation was present as Key-note Speaker. In his address, he highlighted the contribution of youth in making unified discrimination-free India and how youth can make our country prosperous by bringing such values in themselves.
A large number of youths in the region were present at the venue. Convener of the seminar Mr. Ankit Gupta proposed the vote of thanks.
